Sell the dock and replace it with another coin holder. Judging by this thread you'll sell the dock for a decent amount.

Yup I'd probably take the dock off of you.

Ok the dock I've found has charging connection and a fibre optic connection. Does this sound correct?

So the Dock must also be the receiver for the camera too afterall.

I took the glovebox out of mine today. I had a look at the back of the Venturecam dock. It's doesn't have a fibre optic cable, it's just the power connection and an antenna connection (which i assume is what you thought was the fibre optic.)

I am also in the process of upgrading my car to include VC, bought the camera and mount, will need to fit new batteries and again like others looking for a docking station for the glovebox.

Looking to rig a temporary charging point.

Can anyone tell me if I can sync the camera with the car straight off, or will I need to have the CCF updated, additional components? (2008 AB 4.2SC)

Thanks in advance!!

Looking to use it for solo trailer hitch primarily Regards

An interesting topic. My car was specced with it , alongside FBH remote. Sadly neither were present when I bought it. It niggles that these are missing but I don't know if they would ever get used anyway, although I suppose it would be easy enough to contact the previous owners to see if they are lying around in a drawer... However I don't want to buy them just to have them unused , a dilemma indeed!

Apart from my son playing with it, I have never used it. So I might sell the whole thing. For 12750 gbp it's yours and you get the car with it.
