Locked out please help if you can.

Afternoon all. Well this month the FF has had a fair bit spent on it in the form of discs and pads all round (supercharged front calipers) and brake lines throughout, due to corrosion I replaced them all. And now I'm repaid by being locked out.

ANY help would be gratefully received.

So far:

Fob will not unlock the doors, alarm is still engaged as the led flashes to say so. Also ECU is recognising the fob because when I press the button the led alongside 'P' illuminates as the ECU awakens.

Perhaps the battery has gone flat? It's a 12 month old bosh with new alternator so I can't see it, currently I've got the belly pan removed and a trickle charger hooked up to the alternator + and chasis for ground. 4 hours of charging has made no difference.

Ideally of course I'd unlock the car with the key, but of course the lock just turns and has done since I bought the car 3 years ago so naturally that's my own fault.

Im about to replace the trickle charger with jump leads to my other car and see if that helps but I'm not so sure it's a battery issue?

I'm being deadly serious here, which window would be best to smash? The doors are obviously deadlocked so can't be opened with a slider or hook, I'm guessing a rear window would be the best option.

My car will be for sale next week, I'm done!

Stevey

Try a metal coat hook and press the centre dash unlock button

Failing that the easy open boot lid to avoid any breaking of glass Thumbs Up Current vehicles

The best window to smash is whichever one your local glass place can source the quickest Whistle

Sorry that I can't offer any more constructive help than that Embarassed

Thanks for the reply, ive read that the central unlock button won't work due to the alarm being engaged. You say easy open the tailgate? I'd thought about undoing the lock mechanism and trying to force it...

Thanks all who have replied, after spending the afternoon doing other things I thought I'd try again. Still no joy, held the buttons down for an eternity. Nothing. Ranted and cursed (lots). Nothing. Then as if by magic, the tailgate button worked!

I climbed through to the front with all four doors still locked and can confirm that the window switches, door handles and central locking button would not open the doors. Putting the key in the ignition and turning the ignition on caused the drivers side indicator to flash a few times with two alarm beeps. I started the car and attempted the central locking button, all doors unlocked.

That's as far as I'm going tonight. I'll play about tomorrow.

Note to self.... Repair key lock ASAP, I'd planned to delete it completely.

Again, thank you to everyone who has helped so far. I'm very grateful.
