United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Well update on this!!

As I've started to do the job I though I'd do the hub upper and lower bushes while I'm there and thought I had them ready to go...
Turns out the upper bushes I just tried to fit are Censored ! They are Britpart(!) and when I test fitted it the thing just slides in with some spare space so it has free movement of the metal sleeve in the hub mount Sad

Going to order up a genuine one ASAP and see if it fits better as it should be a push fit not fit like a stick in a bucket!

I did start to worry the bush puller like fisha's maybe caused it to have widened but then saw sense and realised I wouldn't had been able to pull the thing through the hub as I wanted to make sure I used a unit slightly smaller than the bush itself to draw it out!

Oh the fun!! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Ahh those ones are the the back of the lower rear wishbones John Smile

i may be interested in them though at some point as im thinking i could do an exchange on my lower wishbones to other members with new bushings pushed in, much easier for others then to swap out and save money by being half the price of a new one on an exchange basis :0 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I've never seen a company mismatch a part to the point of play. Sounds like you were given the wrong part or the box was labeled wrong. Does the part have stampings?

Had some moog arms fitted to my skoda by a local garage. So they are available, whether anything for the FF is I'm not too sure, never seen anything. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine are also shot.
Diagnosed it myself and pre warned the dealer to have spares available during the scheduled book in service.
Lo and behold, they did NOT diagnose the problem until i showed them!!
Now waiting for the stock, irritating, if i had press tools i would have tackled myself.
Now have to wait 2 days and spend the princly sum of ZAR6000, +/- GBP335/US430
over and above the service

Oh well, peace of mind and all that........

Well the genuine unit has arrived and a trial fit has netted unexpected results Sad

It's has much less play than the Britpart item but still has play 😬😬😬
The original item has no play and won't go back in. I tried again as I thought maybe pressing it out had widened the hole but then I realised the only way I could do that is with some super strong press out plate and a 20ton press.

I'm going to see if I can get a part number off the old one but it's just not right and I'm worried the only way is going to be a whole new sodding hub and even worse if I have to do the same to the other side Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Strange it doesn't fit. Nothing daft like a different bush for different versions of the l322 ? Mine was a snug fit that needed pressed in V8 or else ...
