26 LEDs only from standing height – 68 views\'Twas a dull November afternoon, so just getting dark. Will do some day time shots for Mr Nicedayforit

25 Wiring into the cabin – 57 viewsI pushed out the trailer grommet from the inside, which gave me just enough room to drill some holes in the space on the left of the grommet. Then with a lot of pushing, shoving and swearing I managed to force the wiring through the holes, which seem to seal back up as soon as you make them! Getting the grommet back in was just as much fun. I ended up lying completely under the car (feet by gearbox) so my hands were in the right position to push it back into place. A screwdriver helps here also.

30 Wiring Diagram – 76 viewsFor the earth connection I used the earth point in the spare tyre bay, just next to where the trailer wires come in from the grommet.
For power, see later on in the howto.
As you can see, the LEDs needed to be wired in parallel, not in series which was how the front DRLs had to be wired

32 Fuseholder installed for CarPC – 69 viewsHaving discovered with help from Mr Nicedayforit that everything in the back fuseboard is live all the time, I fortunately had installed a fuseholder to protect the accessories in my CarPc installation on the left hand side. Double fortunate that I had protected the ignition controlled feed, and this was the other side of the power switch I fitted to the dash. So was able to use the piggyback fuseholder after all.
