Vogue Se supercharged remap.

Hi,

I'm picking my supercharged Vogue SE up on Saturday - I'm thinking of a remap. Has anyone done this? What gains can I expect?

Power?
Torque?
MPG?

Also, which company is the best to do the remap?

Paul..Would have thought that a S/C had plenty power as it is TBH...not sure if the car could handle too much more as it's designed to be more of refined cruiser rather than an out and out roadster, which is the reason for buying them Very Happy

That might be your reason for buying one Wink

I know there wont be much more in the are of power gains, it's more the MPG and a smoother torque curve.

I've bought it to do some light off roading Smile

Only thing ive heard of is fitting a smaller pully on the supercharger, Fairly easy mod by the sound of it Wink

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

In my experience the S/C is already very very smooth whatever you do. I do suggest to ensure that you have all the newest/latest software updates installed. This will make it more fuel efficient (although that term should be used very loosely with a S/C) anyway and increase soomthness Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Bit of a separate question here but is there any way to double check that the latest software / firmware has infact been applied?

When i bought my S/C I took it down to the local Stealers the very next day and they just sort of agreed it had been done, no checking of systems or VINs. I dont trust them and would value a second opinion.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

Smaller pulley on the supercharger fitted, and a remap to the DENSO ecu and you get some nice gains out of the 4.2 engine.

Done many in both Jags and RR's. Used to have:
2005 FFRR 4.4 Vogue - BRC LPG Conversion & Remapped

Now have:
2008 SSRR 3.6 TDV8 - HSE and plenty of toys

How much more strain dies that put on the supercharger/engine though? I guess it just raises the boost?
