Drop links?

I've just removed my front drop links to see if they are causing the knocking (both new OEM parts in last 6 months) they're both fine & have no play. I went for a drive without the anti-roll bar drop-links and it's still knocking, so that rules out the anti roll bar and drop links. Big Cry Question is do they have a right way up? Just something else to check while it's in bits Confused Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue

No, they go either way up.
Have you checked the anti-roll bar bushes?

Thanks for that I'll get it back together now Very Happy I disconnected the anti roll bar drop links so the bushes should be fine as it's still knocking Confused Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue

No it's all the time over ripples in the road, makes a kind of fast knocking noise, sounds like front passenger side suspension. Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue

I had the drop links and suspension bushes replaced which did not help. however after using Stevena's advise to loosen and tighten the compliance bush on the tie rod and all the other front suspension components the knocking disappeared. the car was as quiet as a very content mouse no noise nothing almost felt like I was driving a range rover

but now its coming back Big Cry not as loud as before but still there

what else can it be Question
