So the control changes the sensitivity of the sensor...not the duration of time inbetween wipes....

To be fair, I can't see the difference, if I increase the sensitivity, it will wipe more often, hence shortening the duration of the intermittent gaps.

Though if there is no rain, it just doesn't wipe, so the rain sensor system is much better to my mind.

Obviously I understand the difference in how the systems work, its just the terminology..................

I like it on mine.

Just a pity you have to move the lever down and back up, each time you start the car.

What bad design is that ?? !! 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

2010 can be left on, and on a nice icy morning - say goodbye to your window rubbers Sad

*or* in a car wash with your engine running - say goodbye to your wipers ...

It's not a bad design, it's a GOOD design, because people forget to turn automatic things OFF Smile Land Rover Addict

Good point - I stoop corrected.

Didn't think of that.......... Thumbs Up

I unreservedly retract my statement about bad design.
