Caravanners

Looking to tour the south of Ireland soon, and I've got some sites in mind. Prior to this though, we want a week down south in Devon. Can anyone recommend a nice site, preferably near the sea somewhere? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Dartmouth Camping & Caravan site is well located for walking into the lovely Dartmouth.

Woodlands Camping includes a small Theme park and is also near to Dartmouth if you have kids.

River Dart Country Park Camping includes an amazing number of activities including High Ropes and a massive adventure playground for the kids.

If you liike cycling then several sites along the Tarka Trail in North Devon near Barnstaple are nice. http://www.staynorthdevon.co.uk/camp_sites.htm

Might be a bit far south, being near bude, but we have been to Budemeadows for the past couple of years, its a family run site, a little homespun but it has a pool, small bar/cafe, and is 2 mins drive to widemouth bay. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammerðŸ˜œðŸ˜œ

Cracking little CL at Shute near Colyton 5 mins to the sea Mine was a blue one!

What is a CL?
Certificated Locations (CLs) are small, five-van sites that are reserved exclusively for Caravan Club members. There are over 2,500 CLs across the UK. CLs are usually located in picturesque rural settings, from working farms to large country estates.

Yes, I know what a CL is! Fully paid up member me!

I'm not really fussed as to whether it's a CL site or not. We just want to get away for a week. Leave is limited with the Olympics, so I can't go for more than a week at the moment. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
