You might need new inner track rod ends if they are seized as bad as you say

I changed all of mine a few weeks ago and it transformed the ride. No more clunking!! Regards

I'd be inclined to use genuine parts & its common for the track tie rods to be siezed onto the track rod ends. The job is a million times simpler by replacing both (how did I learn this? Embarassed )
Here are some piccies of my last effort.

The state of the old one!! You can see the marks of my failed attempt at removal.

Update -

my mechanic got parts on order from local LR dealer - think he said it came as a kit with tie rods and track rod ends and about £80 each side presumable plus VAT.

Sorry to resurrect but how do the track rods detach from the rack? Mine are seized completely.

I bought 2x track rod ends off ebay last week- genuine LR in sealed bags. Also bought 2x lower arms from the same chap, also genuine. £180 delivered.

I need the spindles as well
