I didn't think it was legal to repair sidewall damage, if the tyre was to be used on the road |

Its fine to repair if done to BS AU 159 although most places will fib and say that it cant be done so as to sell you a new tyre and also save them the hassle as only a few places can do it as im finding out |

You can't buy the Goodyear MTR new any-more and I think its been a year or two since they stopped selling if not longer which is the crux. I don't mind buying part worn ones due to their use, but for their cost if I can I would rather safely repair it as they don't ever go over 60mph anyway and spend most of their time either in the garden or crawling round green lanes with MORC |
