FBH Remote Pairing

My FBH remote (T90) wasn't pairing, even after replacing the batteries.

After searching the forum and reading the various posts on this, I tried the procedure in the Wiki ("pull" fuse 59, wait 10 secs, replace fuse and within 5 secs press "off" button on remote for 2 secs). No joy.

Eventually, I tried the same procedure but pulling the power cable out of the Webasto Telestart T90 receiver unit directly, instead of Fuse 59. Hey presto! Works like a charm! No more frosty windows, frozen locks and freezing starts to your journey!

FYI, for those that don't know, the receiver unit is attached to the back of the rear fuse panel (which you will have to remove - three 8mm hex bolts - very easy), which can be found behind the panel on the right hand side of the luggage compartment.

Just thought that this might be worth adding to the Wiki on this ...... in case others encounter the same problem with the 'Fuse 59' procedure. -----------------------------------------------

It sounds like your receiver unit is attached to the wrong side of the fuse, so it is always live.

I got a remote from the bay, but when I took fuse panel off to locate the FBH receiver, I only found a box for the PDC. Is there another location for the receiver for late 2006 models?

My old one a 06 TD6 paired fine by removing the fuse but my new one an 08 Supercharged you must remove the power lead to the receiver so I suspect something happened to the wiring after the introduction of Terrain Response . 2008 MY Supercharged

Yea, tried the fuse 59 method and no luck. Should have said its a Vogue SE TDV8. Looked in both sides, plenty of RF and other module but I haven't seen anything with Webasto label.

Thanks.
