I'm Looking at buying this as a collectors car.
The only thing putting me off is the LPG conversion.
The rest of the bits are all doable.
Wheels head lining etc.

I can take it off but will there be signs of it having been there.

If the LPG installation works well what is not to like? Under slung tanks are a more expensive installation than a tank in the boot. Apart from the fuel economy you should be able to get a bit more power out of the engine with some tuning (lpg is 106-108 octane) and the exhaust system will last a lot longer. 1998 RR 4.6 HSE lpg

However current VRM is the original VRM issued when new so H391FAC could NOt have been on another car. The Range Rover did have DIW2519 between 1996 & 2008 but the HPI alert says VRM.

As it states VAUXHALL CAVALIER I SUSPECT DIW2519 was on a cavalier at some point but the report seems to indicate current VRM....

I will check with HPI.

No I think the write off was a Cavalier but not sure as the CAT D is usually after the VIN not reg....

Do you think its safe to buy it.
