What is the service interval for an 07MY 4.2SC

Manual says refer to service indicator but its been 18months / 6500 miles

Read how sometimes the indicator gets turned off

Is there any way to check the indicator on an 07MY?

Not sure but I would go on 12000 miles or 12 months which ever comes first as a good guide. You dont seem to havent done that many miles and if these have been short trips at the very least an oil and filter change would be a good idea.  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

K thanks .... Only had car few months and last service was inspection 2 .... Was planning an oil and filter change myself regardless of indicator.

Looking at the service portfolio some vehicles (D3 I think it may have been) said 12000 or 36 months.

36 months!

Seems way too long.

My SC covered 16000 before the service indicator called for a service.

my regime would be every 6500 miles(10k km) or twice annually for all my cars. Fully synthetic of course. 2006 4.2 Supercharged Java Black - loving it every moment behind the wheel even at 14 mpg!
