Park heater problem.

Hey all,

New gremlin has surfaced. Just got home and one and off whooshing sound from front left engine bay - sounds like the FBH heater coming on and off - hasn't even stopped after turning the car off - at this rate battery will be dead pretty soon.

Plugged in the iid tool and got the following errors

1) park heater message disturbance fault
2) air quality sensor line fault
3) combustion air fan - open circuit or short circuit to battery.

Any thoughts???

Many thanks guys! African Bush Junkie ... in London!

Any thoughts on what this could be?

Is the outside temperature at that odd level where the sensor is confused as to whether or not it should activate the FBH?

Although it seems strange that this was happening after the car was switched off. Am going to get the battery voltage checked too just in case.

Was the engine fully warmed up? My FBH will keep running for a while if I've had the engine running for only a few minutes. 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE Java Black
