Door Bin Trim Removal?

Long shot....

My '07 S'C is going to undergo a few subtle interior tweaks, but the one that has stumped me so far is the door bin trim. This is the thick plastic strip along the top of each door bin.

I'd like to get these painted or wrapped in gloss black but cannot find a YT or online thread on how to remove them. I can't imagine it's terribly difficult, but does anyone know how to do this without breaking anything? Si. <This is my name.

I think the door cards need to be removed first, then there are screws or clips and catches through from the rear of the card along with some clips on the top of the pocket

Thanks. Thumbs Up

I had a feel behind the strips and there is indeed a screw or clip at the rearmost edge of the trim. I was hoping it would be a simple bit of fiddling to undo that from the front and then off it pops.

It seems not. Censored Si. <This is my name.

I think they can be wrapped without removal. My friend showed me his and they looked like painted Piano...

It was your comment about that in another topic that got me thinking about them, Gary. Thumbs Up

Think wrapping may be the only practical way. I really don't want to remove the door cards. Si. <This is my name.

I have to say the example I saw looked like paint with a superb finish.
