Because my phone doesn't have space for 160GB of music.

I love Northernmonkeyjones' idea of a mechanic in the truck! Bow down Rolling with laughter

Seriously, here's what ALL modern Land Rovers need: a computer OFF emergency switch. I love the gadgets but we've all hear concerns about getting marooned with an inoperative car due to one little sensor acting up in the middle of nowhere. I'd like an emergency OFF that basically gives you the technical sophistication of a 1970 RRC but allows you to get home. No ABS, SRS, HDC etc. just engine, external light and wipers. Get home in an emergency. Regs and lawyers might limit you to 60-80 kph, but that's fine.

Also, why do we need a code reader. Should have a 'diagnostic mode' that would put everything you need on the dash info screen.

+1

I want to be able to choose what to play when I'm in the car, not in front of a computer before I set off

I'd quite like an electric tailgate (even just the top bit)
Just seen one on the ffrr in the top gear studio

Robert
I would love proper tables in the rear of the front seat as in a p38

If you need your whole music collection with you, remember, there is still the iPod Classic. They're HUGE, but music and video only.

iPod Classic - hence the 160GB reference.

Extras - simple things like rubber mats that actually work, with protection for the footrest, transmission tunnel carpet etc. and an external trim option that didn't look like it should have Elizabeth Duke branding.

seriously, had this on a V70 rental recently and it was a f*cking nuisance! Just wanted to slam the bu66er the whole time! Likewise the soft closing doors on the L405!

Re: Fantasy extras

A teleportation machine from our house to the main dealer's workshop... And a cubby hole to store the Yellow Pages so's I can whip it out and stick it down the back of my troos as protection from the tail kicking I'm getting from my wife!
