Colour coding SC Grill and vents

Ok, I know....I haven't bought an RR yet but I am working on it....honest !

Have seen 3 now, out of my budget range but I live in hope...

Anyway, that grey on the SC grill and sides is a bit dull....has anyone colour coded it and if yes how easy, methods and pics ?

Chrome is not for me but I do like the idea of satin black or even coding....just ideas ?

Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

General view is I shouldn't paint the grill or the handles but I've already done the vents, wing mirrors and the bonnet grill so who knows Very Happy Geoff

Supershuttle - I like that.
what sort of place do you have to get that sort of work done? (I know some kind of spray place but Im guessing not a chips away or similar)
do you take the bits off and get them done or is it done in situ

Conor's whistle is that he thinks I should get the front replaced with all the 2011 LEDs etc. I got the work done locally and I did take the bits off, probably why I didn't have the door handles done - too much work , I haven't mentioned the rear spoiler but that was my fault Rolling with laughter Geoff

Both the grill and side vents are easy to remove so you could just drop the parts off at a local body shop and stay on the road. If you wanted to keep the cost down, perhaps you could even do some of the prep work yourself, masking off the mesh parts, flatting down the plastic with wet and dry and maybe even priming the parts.

For the best results you need to take the grills apart before painting so they do not peel from a masked edge... The side vents just unclip/unscrew but the front grills are plastic welded together so will need leavering apart and bonding back together after painting Thumbs Up

Craig,
Hope you had a good holiday, have you got any pics of a RR grill like mine done. I just bought a heat gun to get the grill to pieces, also from your considerable experience are the door handles easy to take off? I know you have reservations about how well the paint sticks to them.
Thumbs Up Bow down Geoff

I think its best when the SC grille surround matches the body colour but i am biased and was lucky mine was already a very close-ish match Smile
