I wouldn't even consider a pickup as you could only carry a few tools and not much else.

Ready for doing work on inside as well and can take full size ply panels. I'd take the fairy lights off and say upto £400 to repair the issues with it but probably a lot less as ABS will be a seensor they have caught or knocked during brake work. Locks are often siezed or just duff but replacements arent pricey.

If you want something smaller then a 6 Speed berlingo is your best bet as the engines are solid in them

Right , i don't want a Tranny type of van , i am basically thinking of getting a 4x4 pick up that would do me for my daily drive and for to use at some point for DIY repairs to some of the properties that i rent out as the letting company that i use are just ripping the pish by calling out tradesmen to fix stupid things that i could do myself and charge me over £100 + for the priviledge ….

So to recap a 4x4 pickup that would be car like and i know it won't be any where near as comfy as a FF but after 10 years of owning them i am getting fed up and just looking for something else

And there are some folks who have transit pickups and use them as their daily drivers... though they also use them to tow caravans around and tarmac drives and such.....

Suppose it could Will, but don't want to take the chance in doing any damage to the interior of a FF if i have to get new doors , ply and other timbers if needed along with some other stuff …

And i am not expecting a pick up to be anywhere near a FF …..

👍it's one of those Ford Rangers , and no doubt Powerfuluk will do stuff for it they even do chrome accessories for wheel barrows 😜

If you are set on a pick up then the new model ranger is where i would start. Drive that first then compare everything else to it........

By all accounts it is the best of the bunch at the moment. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
