Let them first check all the connections, wires and switches. Then make sure the latest software is installed and then use it again for a while.

Mine do exactly the same. I wondered too but as it doesn't cause me a problem have decided to let them play. |

Got to unscrew 4 allen screws to remove a step to provide access to the jacking point. A faff but no big deal. Current: Volvo XC40 T4 R-Design. Loitering with intent to possibly buy back in.

Mine do the same thing & have done for years so I just ignore them & let them get on with it. |

I've jacked mine up with sidesteps using a bottle jack. I locked the steps in the deployed position (or just leave the door on the latch). The jack fits in the point fine. The only slight problem is you don't get a lot of space to pump the jack handle up and down. It does work however. |

Spoke with dealer today and suggested it may be a loose connection/wiring issue... Response was "it's a new one on them, never heard of this happening before" |
