I have noticed tonight in the dark that the dashboard airbag light is ever so faintly flickering.

Anyone had this before? Is it telling me of impending doom by premature bag explosion? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

Sounds like a dodgey earth - do you leave the AC on all the time?

Then the moisture in the air gets into the various connections/ecu's in the car and will generally give you various errors all over the place.

You have climate control for a reason - it controls the climate within the car, not just for driver comfort, but to make sure the air is dry for the various electrical components. The A/C in this weather cycles on and off in the background removing the moisture, it wont actually make you cold. 

It seems many people do not realise that Climate Control is not Air Cooling!

The car is designed to have the Climate Control on Automatic at all times unless another desired program is required. As stated the fact that the A/C light is on most of the time does not mean its cooling the car as some seem to think (including my wife).

Make sure both lights are on the end of the Auto Button and leave it be.....

Vogue Owner - I've got the same problem with the air bag light flickering faintly on my TD6 - had it on Autologic at the indies last time in. Not showing any faults on SRS system so have left it alone. Maybe it's bacause I 'm opening the door and actually driving it rather than having it like a hermitically sealed computer data centre with air con and HVAC fastidiously controlled. Utter pony.

the occupancy sensor might be faulty..does the light flicker when you move about in the seat.. ... - .- -.

Do you always use the AUTO A/C setting....

AC is always on, and the car is in a garage overnight. I have been out jumping up and down it the seats without any difference, still flickering  MY 06 Vogue TD6 Buckingham Blue

try doing that in the passenger seat and see if that makes a difference.. ... - .- -.

did that already maybe the flickering only stops after switching on/off the ignition? or should it clear right away? Will try with a passenger in the other seat. MY 06 Vogue TD6 Buckingham Blue

also check the connections under the seat , one might be loose or even the pins might be corroded.. ... - .- -.
