possible electrical gremlins?

this time last year as the cold set in i had to change the alternator+new Bosch battery..the usual 2007 with 66K miles.
for the past three days getting
1) suspension fault message ..but raising/lowering/changing mode all work fine
2) yesterday the touch screen message 'overheating and shutting down' even tough it was not. this has happened just once.

i dont know if this is also related but the remote heater fob is working erratically. to start the function i have to be next to the car. the light flashes on the fob. sometimes it starts the heater sometimes it does not . and equally when pressed to switch off the heater it does not function even though the fob flashes...
is this a case of possible resync?
is this the start of the electirc gremlins and time to part exchange to a SC.... Whistle
thanks for any advice ..... 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze
