What other options is there

Available rather than pay Sky over £100 to watch their channels …. as they are all 1 +1 +2 +3 crap , also have Apple TV and Netflix … plus really only watch movies , sports every now and again but if you cancel one main package the rest of the channels are crap …

Anything out there worth buying to replace the above … Whistle ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Every year I phone sky and tell them things are tough and I have to make savings... I always end up getting a discount and free trials......
I also have a freesat box, which uses the sky dish, so no setup required... That is obviously free. There is always something to watch and their music channels are plentiful now.
I use lovefilm. It's only £8 a month and I get unlimited latest blurays sent to the house. One at a time tho'... But the postal turn around time is only a few days. They also give you instant streaming.
I would say if you had freeview, freesat, Netflix and lovefilm you would be about £15 a month.
This is of course if you don't want to download illegally.... Whistle Previously..

I also use a film-by-post service. Whenever I've seen Netflicks, I am always amazed by the terrible video quality. Evil or Very Mad Heck, VHS does a better job than most Netflicks. Currently, nothing at the consumer level touches bluray when it comes to quality.

I know a few people that club together and have 3 multiroom cards and split the cost, obviously for legal reasons they all live in the same house Mr. Green

there's a lot of peeps that think the same but overall sky is reasonably priced compared to our european friends especially for the sports channels...
you can get sat receivers with 'gifts' or 'card sharing' which are both illegal and will stop soon as sky is changing its encryption methods .. ... - .- -.

It's also a bit tricky when you get the letter from Sky telling you that they've been trying to dial up the second box on the same number as the main box and that they'll cut it off if they try again and are unsuccessful Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Oh well, we must have been unlucky then. I wasn't an issue as both boxes were in the same house, but the second box wasn't plugged in to the phone line. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

i'm pretty sure sky know what goes on but as long as you pay the fees they probably turn a blind eye.. ... - .- -.

Not at all Stan. I worked for Sky for a few months as a contractor and believe me, they don't turn a blind eye to anything that could cause them grief, such as copyright issues Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

i suppose a £10 payment for maybe a 'so called' multiroom is better than nothing.. ... - .- -.
