I am 6ft and the wife is 5ft. She likes a side step so she can get into the car without hoiking up her tighter skirts to get in. I, on the other hand, dislike them as I tend to step down from the car directly onto the ground without using the sidestep - which means that the back of my trousers brushes against the edge of the sidestep, leaving a nice dirty mark.

So what I'd want is for only one side to deploy. On my key, the passenger side; on her key only the dirver side.

Is this possible.

just fit one step?

I suppose technically speaking, you would never notice. You can't view both sides of the car at the same time. You could even have different wheels on each side!

You know they made a RR Classic for Portugal briefly to overcome tax constraints that had 2 doors on one side, one on the other!
