Would me going to a different key have any affect on this function as i now use the spare key due to the main one needing a service kit the rubber button is split.

On other cars I have owned with memory seats the keys had a "his and hers" function where once you opened the car with a particular key it set all the functions to that key (including the radio!) But I don't think it does it on the Rangy.
