Does anyone know of a good place to get hold of the right trans fluid for the tdv8 gearbox?

As mine does a fair amount of towing i was thinkng of getting the fluids swapped.
I know that recommended lube is a shell atf, which is the same as the ZF lifeguard 6, which woukd be in it from origiNal.

Does anyone know a good place to buy some as its quite pricey from the md and i am thinking that the zf stuff is the way to go, ive seen some on ebay and a feew motor factors down south but nothing round here.

Also anyone any idea how much i will need?

Can I suggest you choose wisely as there is lots of counterfeit oils around at present... Expensive mistake to make eeek...

Was thinking whether bmw may be cheaper for the same fluid, unfortunately unlike germany we do not have a zf service facility in the uk or i would be banging on their door.

Zf do a kit, but looking at the pic it is the pan, pan bolts, and fluid,

Is the filter built into the pan? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
