You need to pull the handle out and turn it until it locks before pushing into the hole.Then when you push it into the reciever it will self engage.

cheers i will have a crack this afternoon, also i am assuming that there should be some sort of pin to keep the receiver from falling out of the armature?

A bolt with an anti vibration nut and a security pin/circlip (as it tends to constantly vibrate loose when towing weight) |
