Activating Engineering Mode - 11MY onwards (includes L405)

Some might find this useful, use at your own risk. (Works with all vehicles that have the TFT instrument display if you are unfamiliar with model year of software details)

To place your vehicle in Engineering Mode if you have GEN 1.5 and 2.0 Software -

Press the "i" button and start button for 3-5 seconds.

The centre TFT display will show that the car is in engineering mode and will allow you to scroll through a number of screens to view different settings, fault codes, specifications and software information as well as a number of self tests, voltage information for key systems and status of a number of chassis and MOST components.

Hold "i" to exit.

You can't amend settings or clear any fault information, but you can view it.

I found this out by accident, being too quick on changing my trip computer before I'd switched the engine on!
