side marker reflector delete question

going back a few posts to the pics of the orange side markers, I too would be interested in doing this come the better weather, on my front lights. I have SC rears and see that one has let go on the seal and getting a damp bloom so I think I might go for a front and rear colour reflector delete. -but before I get excited, can anyone tell me if I am legal in UK with both front and rear 'side reflectors' deleted. (body coloured)
I understand that the rears are glued, so will be looking for tips on splitting them, and resealing if anyone has succeded.
will be twin halo'd at same time.
cheers guys.

we had a disco2 with lit side markers in orange. people would sometimes almost pull out on you thinking they are seeing a first blink of an indicator (left) I would give them the skunk eye, and they would point to the light! so I pulled the bulbs, before I came a cropper.

Rears are a PITA to do... The lens is heat welded on not glued so the only way i can see to split them is to smash the lens's off then dremel off the rear of another light leaving the clear lens, when you have finished inside, glue the clear outer back on Thumbs Up

Here's the ones i made...
