I've seen three newish Sports with lights and/or grille missing locally in the last few months. Suppose the people desperate to give the impression of a more expensive car don't care where the bits come from.

Few years back, some scroat removed every light guard ( landrover originals ) from my Discovery in the daed of night whilst parked in front of my house. They had clearly bought the right sized hex key with them.

Wow Dave, must have been under three months old or they'd have rusted on

Sadly here in the States they are to stupid to steal the lights so they just shoot us for our Range Rovers.

Glad I took the advice in this thread now. On my way in this morning I noticed a RRS on its owner's driveway with both rear light clusters missing. Less than a mile from our house. Range Rover L405 3.0 SC

Seems to be a common London occurrence, saw another with rear lights missing last week. Early Sports are cheap now ...

Just read this post and thought I better comment.

Putting something in the back of the car at the weekend I notice that my upper stop light lens was missing, the lights are still there just the red lens missing

I just assumed its been kids trying to pintch the light and made a mess of it, but now I would like to know if this could also be related?

not heard of the third brake light being targeted before, i suspect its thieving kids looking for an opportune resell..

I'm sure I've read the red lenses occasionally fall off - could be a snide range rover owner  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Noticed the clear side indicators on the doors had gone from a local Sport earlier (from memory the one the grille was stolen from).

Not as annoying as for the owner of the brand new RS6 in front of it, now minus its mirrors.

Just for completeness and a bit of a price update on the LR bolts ; further to Flashmans part no post ;

Just spoke to my local LR dealer about something else, and remembered the newer bolts being available, which cannot be undone without opening the lower tailgate.

The correct part number is fyp106392 but only available in a pack of 10 and with some discount I got, will cost me £3.50 odd.
