3rd FSR fitted today in 5 years

As per title, just fitted my 3rd FSR after fan/blower failure again.

Connectors a bit burnt out in one corner so tightened them up a bit with thin nosed pliers.

Now got so good at it don't even have to lie upside down any more Very Happy

Did we ever define a way of testing the FSR ? Resistance etc. Question .

My howto from my blog:

http://metricrat.co.uk/replacing-the-final...kiii-2002/

It is getting into position to be able to see what it is you need to tug/pull and pry. First time, into the unknown, this is a bit tricky, so take your time and try not to get too frustrated or you will break something. Worth checking the condition of the pins on the male plug, may need a clean, bit of grease/electrical contact cleaner etc. Make sure everything goes back together properly. .
