How to remove headlight inner lens

I'm changing the ignitor inside the headlight on my car and can't seem to get the silver headlight bit inside of the lens to in lip, does anyone have any ideas or am I missing anything obvious?.

Pictures as I don't really understand what you are having a problem with ? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I managed to sort the little sod out in the end, all replaced and working.
