Sounds like the same issue I had. No warning, drove fine, parked up at work, then came out and just turned over.

That sounds more like a case of dodgy immobiliser not turning off properly. re-lock and then unlock the car will cycle the immobiliser. Just a thought. |

I had been advised that it was probably the immobiliser so I'd done all the locking/unlocking stuff but it made no difference.

Yep, had exactly the same issue, had it trailered to the mechanics and it started and drive normally when it got there. They did a voltage check on the pump and found that it was not at optimum leading to it being temperamental, so they replaced it and it was fine afterwards. Luckily not the in tank pump.

The fuel pump is a very common issue on the TD6s and if you trawl the forum, you will see a lot of issues like you are having turn out to be the pump on its way out. If you are not certain the pump has been changed at any time, it is a pretty safe bet to have it replaced. Not sure if it is very expensive but I don't believe it is.

Hi, Had exactly the same issu on my 2004 TD6. Was the fuel pump, it did 3 times, the 4th never started again. At least the car is sending you a warning message! Total cost for me was 325€ here in Germany |
