I used to get this on my 2003 TD6 too. The regular "bong of doom" used to drive me mad!

Well looks like battery is the Issue, Halford a year ago has fitted a Bosch S4 85AH, I left it on charge for 24Hour and still not fully charged!

Well I have a new Varta battery to fit, but not had a chance yet, but measured the Bosch after a run and it was sitting at 12.2V so Im guessing its on it way out, as the alternator charging voltage is 14V.

Yeah thanks seen them already, I sprayed the bolts with Plusgas tonight so I'm hoping it will only take 10 mins to remove tomorrow. |
