Well got my new/old plates on, sorted the insurance and BOOM got out on the road in earnest, what an absolutely fabulous car its not just the engine (which is very special) but the sense that everything has been brought up to date including the driving dynamics and fancy instrumentation. My old car was great and I miss it already but this one is a more than adequate replacement - stunning in fact.

Filled it up with petrol, range now just over 400 miles assuming the TDV8 had the same size tank thats almost 2/3 of what I was getting before - not as bad as I expected. Very Happy Geoff

my friend's touareg v6 tdi used ⅔ of the amount of fuel that my 4.4 V8 (BMW) used during a 6000km trip end of last year - so yours seems to be spot on
