Hi, it might be the oil in your gearbox is draining into the sump during its long sit, it is just taking a short time to fill the system. I have noticed that if I try and pull away in a hurry from a cold start there is a delay before drive engages. But if I put it in gear and wait a few seconds all is good! maybe you need to slow down on the get away, I do

Thanks for the answer, that kinda makes sense, it certainly doesn't have any issues driving

Might be lack of fluid my p38 used to do this but only if slightly low on oil might be worth a check |

Could be the old sticky gearbox cable, taking a few secs to get into the drive position.......

I would doubt it is low in fluid, unless you can see an obvious leak there is nowhere for the fluid to go. Be careful when checking the level it needs to be at the correct temperature to give the right level, if checked when cold it will appear low! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There are definitely no leaks and it was serviced 5 months ago, full inspection service, pretty sure all fluid and oil checks were on the invoice too now that you mention it. 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts |
