I have non-OE pads in my own Brembo calipers. They do not squeak or squeal. In addition, I have also fitted many sets of non-OE pads to my customers cars, again, with no issue. That is not to say the OP has an issue with the brand of pads he has fitted, mind you |

I had a similar situation the previous owner went to Halfrauds for pads so lots of intermittent squealing - car not me - and grinding bought new Brembo discs and pads 155 quid 2 hours to fanny around putting them in and now silence |

Not all of them. Why would that make a difference? |

Mmmmmmmmm, on the 2006 with original pads I had a slightly different squeal issue. When in traffic on a rainy day, after a while creeping through the brakes started to squeal like a banshee if you applied the brakes slowly (as one does in traffic). If you'd apply it quickly (jerking to a halt) then it was fine. And once you started driving normally it went away when braking.

I was referring to L322 and L320, both of which use the same caliper (with different size mounting holes) and the same brake pads. Never had the pleasure of fitting pads to any other Brembo caliper, other than LR/RR Been there, tried that, never had an issue in the last 4 years ![]() There are better, and cheaper brake pads available than OE ![]() |

I did actually buy a Brembo disc and pad set for the front (paid over £200 for the parts alone) and I then bought the set for the rear.

To clarify, the OE Brembo pads are squealing? |

Worth having a look at is the wear sensor when I changed mine the wear sensor was not located properly and had wear on it from the disc pretty sure this was causing the intermittent wheelbarrow noise might be worth a look |

Ours has covered approx 8,000 miles in the 7 months they've been fitted so they should have bedded in by now; and the squeal manifested from the point when they were newly fitted up to and including now. The former pads didn't squeal.

I must say I hated the noise as you say a car like a FF should make the noise of a rust bucket

If you can live with the squeal for a few hundred miles until they bed in, I recommend these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBC-FRONT-REDSTU...43b214f2f1 |
