L322 SUSPENSION KNIGHTMARE...

Hi folks, I know this seems to be an ongoing problem with the L322's and quite a frequent topic on here but I can't seem to get the answer I'm looking for. I keep getting "SUSPENSION FAULT...NORMAL HEIGHT ONLY" not long after my RR has been started. I don't even need to drive anywhere and I get the lockout. The compressor has been renewed, the relay too and I've put a new genuine LR pressure sensor as that was the fault I was getting on my iCarsoft 930 code reader. It also said it was slow to build up pressure and the compressor wasn't switching off, it was running for ages. The beads and filters in the air drier are brand new too which can't be the problem either. Any help would be greatly appreciated and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction as I'm just about to put it in to the garage and re-mortgage my house to get it fixed. Cheers for any help you have, Del. Crying or Very sad

I presume your not getting any other codes up then? Even after changing the pressure switch?

C1A20 is the fault code. Slow building pressure to resorvoir is the explanation. Can't understand it myself, especially with everything I've just done. I don't seem to have any leaks either as the black pipe that feeds th air tank blows like mad when disconnected from the compressor. It doesnt loose height overnight either and when I start her and change the height setting, she says "VEHICLE LIFTING SLOWLY". The only bit I didn't change was the black block that is connected to the compressor with rubber push mounts and has the black n 2 blue pipes coming off it. She's a 2006 model, is this a part thats prone to failing?.

When I had trouble with my compressor it was because I had been messing with the IDTool and left it set in tight tolerance mode which caused no end of problems, some of which were like the ones you describe. Geoff

I had exactly the same problem on mine - the blue pipe that comes out the spare wheel well and up to the valve block was at fault.

The blue air pipe was rubbing on a sharp part of the rear subframe mount and had perforated on one side. I bought a repair kit on eBay (basically a short length of hose and two unions) and it was fixed easily.
