new member joined up!

hi everyone, just got myself a range rover 2002 HSE in oslo blue, had the dreaded gear box issue but had that fixed on warrantee which was lucky, loving it so far and its a clean example with a few updated parts on it that i have done,i have the supercharged grill on the front, had the rear windows tinted and also put a parrot hands free phone kit/ipod player into the cabin as well, all works really well and the next mod will be a set of new alloys maybe next year after winter.hoping to learn about the range rover and how to make the most of it,this is my first 4x4 so it a big jump into the 4x4 world for me but start with the best i say
Thumbs Up here is a few pics

Hi all, I finally bought my first RR 2 weeks ago and having read some stuff on here prior to that I thought I should join!

I've got a 2011 L322 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE Full Original Overfinch (exterior and interior from new). 48k on the clock but I've already done another 800 miles having bought from a dealer in Yorkshire whereas I live down south.

Already in love with her, fantastically opulent and comfy inside but very quick still and nice to look at. She has also been chipped so c350bhp and c550lbft torque gives pretty much same 0-60 as my previous 3 litre petrol 3 series even though twice as heavy. Also better fuel economy so far at 27mpg compared to 24mpg for the Beemer.

Will have a go at uploading some photos shortly.

Hi all

Hi all, looking at buying my first Range Rover Vogue at the weekend so I expect I will have a lot of questions for you all !!

I do have one quick question, is there a website that 1) can tell me what options have been fitted to a car and 2) a website that tells me what options were available at the time?

Thanks, Craig

Forum Newbie.... but not totally ...

Hi to everyone on here Thumbs Up Very Happy

I thought i would comeover to check out whats going on and waht is being discussed here ........

An RRS owner now looking at the FFRR latest shape as an option because TBH its a fantastic looking beast , much better than the new RRS and i need to start looking at options as im getting itchy feet....

I am interested to know if the FFRR ( latest ) has any issues cropping up , as we know there are a ' few' on the RRS .... so time to evaluate .... already i could see it being an Autobiography in Black ( body colour side blades) ......

These already look tremendous on the road so i can see me going there ....

TST

Australia 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Hi all, I have been perusing this forum for years with an objective of one day getting into a 2007 or 2008 4.2 S/C.

Well, just yesterday I have done it. Pretty chuffed about it too. It's a V low km (61,500 km) car garaged and kept immaculate by a single gent. A plum.

I'll be remaining on the forum and maybe able to provide first hand help back to others who have been helpful to me on this and the Disco3 forum.

My faithful '05 V8 HSE is making way for the Fatty.

Some pics here.

I'll amend the signature when I take delivery - might be a couple of weeks.

Regards

Pete.. Thumbs Up

Hello from the Cotswolds.
Looking to possibly buy a FFRR next summer when my current leased Kuga goes back.
With 10 years of RR before, I leased to avoid the constant garage trips - the Kuga is fantastic and has never had an issue, but... it is not a RR! So thinking about going back to RR next year.

as no post is of any use without photos, here are my previous 3 RRs:

1982 'In Vogue' great car, but as slow as riding a bike - 3.5v8
'written off' by an RAF coach (but bought back) this was at the end of its life when the engine blew up... having only paid £950 for the car originally it was scrapped - sad as they are now going up in value...

1994 LSE - started as a 4.2v8 - which blew up / replaced with a 4.6v8 - which blew up / rebuilt by specialists into a c. 5.0 v8 chipped - 0-60 in under 8 seconds, but didn't go around corners! Fab car, eventually scrapped due to body issues - should have kept the engine / car.

1997 2.5 DHSE - almost as slow as the In Vogue until JE Engineering 'tweaked' making it usable! Good car, did me well, but eventually sold it. This photo was having just come down from the grouse moors in Scotland where we had been off-road in the dark with no maps - on my normal (M&S) road tyres. Here it was waiting for the other P38 & 2 x Shoguns - all of which crashed into something, or got stuck....

So, 10 years of enjoying RRs - now looking to come back Very Happy
looking probably at post 2007MY - either TDV8 or SC - as you can see from above I have had petrol and diesel - the petrols are more fun, but I have managed to blow up a lot of engines (more than I have had cars!) so maybe best not!

Alasdair
