Good to hear jaiscossie Thumbs Up

Just be careful not to use it so much that you flatten the battery, like I did once!!

Had a nice warm vehicle...but couldn't start the engine Rolling with laughter

Heater should fire up below 16deg on the fob👍

Just managed to get mine working on the disco, and it is great to go out to a warm car as the mornings get colder. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I thought it was below 5deg? If I hold the left button on the remote the air circulation comes on. To get the heater to activate should I press the right hand button?

I read online that you should only use the heater for the length of the journey you are going to do. So a ten mile journey then the heater for 10min before hand

Have a read of the remote instructions, there are 2 modes on the remote, ventillation and heat, I don't know if these are individually selectable on the ff.

If your car is a bit warm it won't kick in the fbh and will just pull the heat from the coolant/latent heat. If it's not kicking in now check the mode on the remote, then try it in the morning, it should fire up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It's not so much how long you have the heater on before making a journey, but making sure your battery is in good condition and gets a good recharge after using the FBH.

The day I had problems, my battery was on its way out, I was waiting for a work colleague to turn up at my house for a business trip and I was daft enough to pre-heat, reheat and then do one last re-heat to the FF (using the FBH each time, without the engine running). Came to start the engine and...not enough juice left in the battery to crank the engine. Ended up having to take SWMBO's car instead, and boy did I feel a plonker!! Shocked

The T91 remote has two buttons, the left button switches the heating/ventilation 'ON' the right button swiches it 'OFF'

There is also the following with my T91 fob:-

If the temp is low enough and you press the 'ON' button the light on the fob glows red to show the FBH and fan has started. If the temp is high enough and you press the 'ON' button then the fob light will turn green and only the fans will start to cool the interior.

Not sure at what exact temp these two functions operate at though.

Ok thanks that makes it a bit clearer. When pressing the on button I'm only getting a green light the system comes on but is just the fans with no heat. I'll give it another try in the morning incase it isn't cold enough.

Well it seems it's all working great. I switched the system on about 20min ago to test it (thought it was just the fans) went outside just heard a clicking from the back of the car and opened her up and was lovely and warm inside. Actually sat it there for a few minutes as was warmer than in the house Laughing
