To your defender vs FF comparison, Is it because or traction control? I mean all four wheels driving, yes, but if the easiest side spinning in the air means no movement, relying on other axle/transfer etc, therefore possibly three wheel drive, but power wasted throwing mud around. The range's traction control brakes the lifted wheel, and thus the three wheels left have all the power. instantaneously keeping movement/momentum, and continuous driving. This is how I perceive it. However I have no off road experience. (Londoner!) |

Reckon it probably was down to the traction control, the disco 3 that was there had no issues either. Here's a few more pics, first one was heading to Ullapool yesterday to drop a car at the ferry for Stornoway - An Teallach looking very wintery!

For all the club days out we have to negotiate with the individual landowners to gain access to their land - each car pays £20 and the money collected goes to a charity nominated by the landowner - works well and get no grief from anyone. |
