^ cos carjacking would go through the roof.

Let them take the car as long as my family are OK. Same deal with fingerprint readers etc. I don't fancy having a finger cut off Laughing

The majority of thefts are by programming a new key. If you hide the keyless module from appearing on the CAN then the thief has to find that item first which all takes time. And the module can be connected anywhere in the car as long as there are CANBUS wires available. That's a lot of places to check, trim to remove, especially when you're trying to pinch a car.

The BBS gadget looks good and would hopefully prevent the RR being nicked. I'm not to keen on the idea of the car being nicked and it being recovered by a Tracker. I would rather it disappear forever or not be nicked in the first place.

Many years ago I had an Impreza Turbo and used it around Birmingham, parking in public car parks. The solution then was to fit a lock to the gearbox that locked it in reverse when parked. It was a very neat mechanical design and easily locked/unlocked in a couple of seconds. A small sticker on the drivers window identifying the lock was installed and meant I had no security problems over 3 years and 60k miles. What's the point in breaking in when you cant move it? The BBS could be the modern alternative solution for RR owners. MY23 D350 HSE
