Drivers door lock

Got a second hand locking mechanism to replace the non working one on the drivers door ( button doesn't pop up via the fob, have to stick a key in the lock ). Can't seem to find a diagram of the cable connections and lock though. The cable to the inside door handle is quite straight forward but the cable for the exterior handle looks a bit complicated. Any body got any pictures or diagrams of the lock and cable set up ?

Wish we were allowed to swear on here !! Doorcard off this afternoon, lock removed, ebay replacement fitted and bingo.... nowt. zilch, pooooooh. It didn't work. At least the old one would lock via the fob even if you had to stick the key in the lock to open it.

Liars !! Reassembled the whole lot and back to square one. Gave the old one a good WD40 soaking but no use.

Dave, a word of caution sir. IF the assembly decides it will fail completely when deadlocked it will be a HUGE P.I.T.A. Shocked

I know, hence I am now trying to source another one. Loads of F/N/S ones but no F/O/S. Message from seller..'Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems with the door catch, why it is no longer working is a bit of a mystery as the catch was taken from a vehicle i had used on a daily basis and worked perfectly up to the very day it was removed which was only a week before you purchased it'

Really ? The actuator didn't work once when I connected it . Not a sound, not a flicker.
