To be fair, it does work, just has a habit of turning itself off occasionally! Not the sort of thing one can test.

Dang! my replacement FSBR has gone the way of the last one, symptoms started with intermittent blowers for several weeks, then yesterday just nothing. |

The one that failed after about 6 months in mine was an eBay one rather than genuine LR one. The Genuine ones have been revised, they now have more cooling fins. I got my genuine one from Harwoods, Edenbridge. When I gave the parts guy the part number he immediately said ah yes the FSR before even typing it into the computer! They obviously replace a few of them if he knows the number off by heart!

Well, new FSR fitted in, and blowers back in operation. It's a very satisfying fix |

I found when replacing my FSR that refitting into the clips was awkward and took a lot of fiddling about until it was properly located |

I had the FSR issue and followed the instructions on rswsolutions. 40 Euros for the spare part and 30 mins work, all settled! Thanks a lot, great advice! Andy |
