Try reconnecting/pushing all the way in the various cables and plugs. I had a similar problem and if the MAF plug is not fully in error may appear.

Did you go for a genuine MAF or an after market one when changing it? Having had awful experiences with cheap aftermarket MAF's on a few different makes of car over the years I will now only fit genuine when changing them |

Make sure it's a Bosch (should say in the actual MAF). I paid about £120 fitted. |

Sounds obvious but check all the electrical cable connections (Battery, MAF Sensor etc.) Sometimes a partial fit can lead to intermittent disconnection and loss of power. |
