I think I'll be fine on that front as no gun here and obviously after two burglaries already if I investigated an alarm that had been triggered and then feared they were a danger to a newborn child I don't think any of us would hesitate in making sure they didn't get near their nipper 👍

Can't imagine they cost under £50 and are easy to setup to disable when an authorised person wants to go into the area... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Tempting fate here i know but we have had a raft of farm burglaries in the last month, quads, trailers etc up to the next farm. I have CCTV (useless apart from during the day). I know you dont want dogs. borrow one for a month, I see them all the time slowing down and sussing out the property and the dogs definitely put them off |

I'd need to borrow one that's happy outdoors really and I don't know anyone that keeps their dog outside locally |

Tony Martins biggest downfall was shooting them in the back as they ran away... any US cop will tell you, you shout first to make them turn around, then shoot them in the front.....!! Pete

Generally, the process of being disturbed is what makes burglars leave the scene, they generally don't want the hassle of dealing with someone. Large sounds drawing attention is the name of the game. If challenged, most will turn and walk and make a comment of "was looking for a friend" type crap.
