I have read various threads regarding removing the main viscous cooling fan from the front of the engine. With the Electric fan already there controlled by the ECU it sounds like a good idea. I do question if removing the fan would be such a good idea in a hot climate so can I ask has anyone removed their fan and subsequently ran their car in very hot conditions, High 30c`s to 40c`s? Any dramas? 2007 TDV8 VSE

, but at least i can tell when I'm pushing the engine too hard when towing, would strongly recommend if you are going to do away with the fan

While I imagine that it would cope during colder months down under, I wouldn't rate your chances during the summer
