| RANGEROVER Member Since: 25 May 2010 Location: EAST OF ENGLAND Posts: 48      | My one corroded through at the fastening points - I also used the tin snips to cut it off - those 16mm carrier bolts where too tight (broke a socket) so I give up - I was going to fit a new spash guard in the warmer weather to - that was a year ago - must do it some day  | ||

| KARMANN Member Since: 13 Dec 2010 Location: Scotland Posts: 95    | I had the exact same problem the other day, This can be fixed without removing the brake disc etc. Simply get a large diameter washer for each bolt that the tin splash guard has seperated from. Undo the bolts and redo with the washer in inplace and tighten. Its a tight finger sqeeze to do,but saves so much time.
