Hi all, am after some help. Had my 2012 RR since November and never thought the air con was great. This weekend in the hot weather I realised although it makes lots of noise, no air was actually coming from the vents hence barely cooling down. Vowing to take it to the garage, the next time I started it lots of cold air! Had that two days running, thought it had somehow fixed itself, then the next day (this morning) no air from the vents just lots of noise again. Finally this evening, lots of noise but no air, then a sucking sound, then lots of cold air!! Any ideas? No doubt when I take it in it will work fine and no one will be able to find the problem! Ideas appreciated. Many thanks.

Mine does this sometimes.

It does it when on auto, I select all 3 of the direction buttons underneath and let it run for a while then put t back on auto.👍 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

the ac tends not to work when just on idle, increase the rpm and it works ok.. ... - .- -.

Many thanks, it seems to blow hard and ice cold even from start (when it works),but when it decides it won't then nothing comes out even though it makes all the same noise and it won't seem to kick in no matter how fast I'm going until I stop and turn it all off(and even then its random). Very odd.

Flap getting stuck?

I think that is a good possibility given the noise continues but there is no blowing from the vents- is that something that a technical incompetent can check of fix?
