It might be better to integrate a smart watch into dash. So it updates itself via your phone. |

First gen Moto360 in steel would fit well (the strap clips to the back and it charges wirelessly). |

Can't you just by a 12v radio controlled clock (receives signal from atomic clock in Rugby or wherever) e.g.
