TV Problem

While I'm wittering on about dashcams, I thought I'd post to ask if anyone has had the same TV problem I do.

Yes, they're hopeless on the move and not a great deal better when you stop, but I can't change the channel at all on my 2014 VSE.

It's stuck on London Live for some reason. Everything else says 'No reception' and then goes back to London Live.

And London Live isn't that great.

Yes, I'll take it back to the dealer eventually but I thought I'd just ask.

Can't find anything on search.

Simon.

I've been out to it and all it's got under TV Settings is Traffic, News and TV Country.

The first two are presumably radio interventions.

I tried changing country but it kept going back to UK.

Are there any other settings I'm missing?

Would removing the relevant fuse not help? (Although you may lose other accumulated info - avg mileage / speed etc) . Thinking if the software had locked up, then removing power may reset it to factory default after a short period or the like? Steve

That's quite a canny answer that hadn't occurred to me but in the end I took it back to the dealer who beat it with a blunt stick for a couple of days and put it right.

I mean replaced the TV module sir.

Apparently, in early vehicles, the signal went first to the rear screens (if you have them as I do) and via them to the front. Something had broken down between them I was told.

Now the front feeds the backs apparently.

Is it like the old system where it only keeps the channel you last watched and you need to auto-tune every time you park up to watch TV? 2008 MY Supercharged

No, you can store up to 12 TV channels, just like in the radio but if you're not within range when you select them, you won't get them, obviously.

Which happens a lot, at least in my part of the southern U.K.
